FLAPS operates three small aircraft. The Minneapolis based Cessna 182 is used by AFLC staff and ministry personnel in the “Lower 48”. The Alaska fleet consists of a Cessna 175 and a Piper Cherokee 6 flown and maintained by AFLC pastor/pilot /mechanic Jeremy Crowell based in Naknek, Alaska. This remote area has only about 15 miles of road, so aircraft are the only way to provide access to the many remote outlying villages in southwest Alaska.
