Andrew & Alexis Olson are serving in Tanzania, Africa with Lutheran Bible Translators.
Children: Mariah, Selah Grace Elizabeth and Eliana Daisy Marie.
The Olsons are serving the people on Ukerewe Island located in Lake Victoria in Tanzania, Africa. They are working with Lutheran Bible Translators and are primarily focusing on Bible translations for the Ukerewe and Swahili language groups. Andy’s parents served in Tanzania when he was 13. Alexis’s family served as missionaries in Uganda when she was 17. They both felt the need for the Gospel to be taken to those they had met during those times. They met and were married in 2015 and they are now carrying out what was set in their hearts when they were teenagers. They have three daughters: Mariah, Selah Grace Elizabeth and Eliana Daisy Marie
