"About that time Caesar Augustus ordered a census to be taken throughout the Empire. This was the first census when Quirinius was the governor of Syria. Everyone had to travel to his hometown to be accounted for. So Joseph went from the Galilean town of Nazareth up to Bethlehem in Judah, David's hometown, for the census. As a decendant of David he had to go there. He went with Mary, his fiancee, who was pregnant.

While they were there, the time came for her to give birth. She gave birth to a son, her firstborn. She wrapped Him in a blanket and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the hostel.

Come join the Financial Peace class on Tuesdays, 6:30pm starting on January 9th!  Please call as soon as you know you would like to sign up (360-435-9191).  We will be placing another order for classroom kits on December 28th, so please make every effort to let us know before then if you plan to attend.  Currently the total cost for a classroom kit, for couples or single, is $109 (scholarships are available). The hope is that the cost will be able to be lowered as fundraising continues.

This years' Mata-thon is coming up! The run/walk/bike fundraiser for Mission Aviation Training Academy will be held on Saturday, May 14 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

The fundraising event includes running, walking, or biking around the 6-mile Arlington Airport Trail to raise money for missions through Mission Aviation Training Academy (MATA). Funds raised this year will help them fly kids into camp in Alaska this summer at which many have received the Lord or were counseled and helped through difficult issues such as abuse and suicide.
