Serving in Uganda and Lutheran Bible Camp
Michael was commissioned as an AFLC missionary in 2018 after 3 years as a Short-Term Assistant with Micah Berger and the Ambassador Institute in Uganda. He is a seasonal missionary meaning he is on the AFLC mission field in Uganda from January through May each year teaching local pastors and church leaders with our other Uganda missionaries. During the remaining part of the year, he works at the Lutheran Island Bible Camp in Minnesota where he has used his skills of writing, speaking and drama for 14 years to help train youth and young adults using his special gifting.
RESCUE’s mission is simple; it is dedicated to the recovery of unused medical supplies and equipment for the purpose of global aid, waste reduction and financial stewardship. Teams of volunteers gather each week near Smokey Point to collect, process, and ship supplies to Christian medical workers serving in remote locations around the world.
Acknowledging that every human life begins at conception and is worthy of protection, the PRC offers compassion, hope, and help to anyone considering abortion by presenting them with realistic alternatives and Christ-centered support; to empower clients to make life-affirming choices with the compassion of Jesus Christ. Every baby deserves life and every woman deserves hope.
Katelynn is part of a team at Stonewater Ranch near Leavenworth, Washington, passionately seeking to see NW youth transformed by Christ, integrated into the local church, and impacting their world for Him. They use wilderness adventures as a tool for this ministry that is changing the hearts and lives of the youth who experience the beauty and wonder of God’s creation.
Kako Retreat Center provides Christ-centered retreats, youth camps, workshops, seminars and counseling to encourage and benefit people living in remote Alaskan villages on the Yukon-Kuskokwim delta. The Center has an aircraft runway to provide access by aircraft to the remote site which was, at one time, an old mine.

MATA’s mission is spreading the Gospel through the equipping and training of pilots. Located at Arlington Municipal airport, it fills the need for short-term aviation training opportunities for those preparing or involved in ministry. This includes helping pilots meet the qualifications for major mission aviation organizations, as well as for service with smaller, independent mission aviation ministries all over the world.

Camp Amos is a facility under construction for handicapped and orphaned children in the Chiapas, Mexico area. The children at the home are under the care of Matthew Dappen who has a heart for a safe and loving place for these “special needs” kids. The kitchen, dining and guest room areas are all being constructed at this time. The facility will have its own orchard, garden and capability of growing some of its own food.
